Today we will look at the Republic period in China. The republic would overthrow the Qing dynasty. It was short-lived but would send China in to a civil war that would last through both world wars before being defeated by Mao Zedong's Communist regime.
Read and answer the questions in the document below. Submit your questions to Tii when finished (preferably by 10pm tonight). You may turn in as late as Friday but know that our communism discussion tomorrow will be harder to follow without the context of the Republic.
